Dinsdale Moorland Services Ltd were contracted to restore the damaged habitat at Wolfhole Crag.
The works consist of bare peat restoration, including: drip edge re-profiling, peat pan stabilisation and gully blocking.
The main objective of the project is to maintain the vital carbon store held within the peat, and create improvement to the water quality along with restoring diverse habitat. All the works will be carried out with minimal disturbance or damage to this fragile habitat.
